We hosted over 250 kids plus adults in our recent Trunk or Treat!  We fed them all chili and hot dogs inside the building after they got tons of goodies at the trunks in the parking lot!  Just two weeks later we hosted a free carnival in our fellowship hall with all kinds of games and prizes.  Pastor Terry showed up as Waldo the Clown and presented a gospel message. 

     Shortly after we purchased our new property, we began to talk to a neighbor about the property adjoining ours to the north.  The old house had become vacant and really just not worth fixing up. The owner decided to donate the property to us!  It took some time to finally get it done, but we now own the house and lot next door.  We will raze the house and make half the lot parking and half just a nice play area.  These were the two things we knew this new church property was lacking in when we bought it!  God provided again!  AND, praise the Lord, we are debt free, even with a total remodel of the church building, adding on with a new kitchen and storage, converting the parsonage into classrooms and more, and then adding this new property!

Pastor Terry has published his third book!  It's a children's book like the first two, called "Noah and the Great Flood".  All three story books are soft-cover, illustrated poems of Bible stories.  The books came from stories he wrote as poems for use in our Straight Street children's ministry. After some encouragement from church members, he eventually turned the first one, "Twas the Night Jesus Was Born" into a published book.
