Three Major Choices for the Christian
#2 - To Steward Wisely

Matt. 6:19-34

Open Up
   1. What so far has been your best job? Your worst? Why?

   2. What trips, vacations, or places of interest you’ve visited were the best?
   3. What are your most prized possessions?

Think About It
Determine who is the owner and who is the manager? Ps. 24:1; Haggai 2:8; 1 Cor. 6:19-20

Decide to be a good steward (manager) of Time, Talents and Treasures. 1 Cor. 4:2; Rom. 12:6-8

Depend on the Owner for help and your future. Phil. 4:1-13; Heb. 13:5; Matt. 25:21

   4. What are the differences between owners and managers?

   5. How does the concept of contentment or discontentment factor into our stewardship?

   6. How does generosity play into stewardship?

   7. How does the idea of accountability to God affect you?

Apply It

If you agree that God is the owner and you are a manager of what is His and you’ve decided to be the best manager you can be for Him, what steps can you make to carry this out? Consider better management of Time – Talents – Treasures.
